Halloween Downtown

Today we had Halloween here in our little downtown!  I didn't dress up, but I dressed up  my little Boston Terrier, Zoey and took her out.  My husbands show choir had learned Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance (the music video version) over the last few weeks and did a flash mob downtown!  It was really cool!

I did wear a Halloweenish colored top for the event.  It is actually orange, white, and blue (not black) but...it does the job!

Chilly day today!!! Finally, it cooled down some, which is what I have been looking forward to.  

My camera made my cardigan look a little more purple looking than it actually is...it's really navy blue!  The cardigan is very cozy and my floral scarf kept me warm, and my boots... I LOVE WEARING MY BOOTS! I would own all the boots in the world if I could! :)

Metallic Stipes

I would describe this outfit as a mix of neutrals and metallic.  I love this sweater, the metallic stripes are pretty darn awesome... I decided pairing it with a neutral blazer, shoes and necklace would be the best overall look with this top, and I believe it worked!

I had class today and Albuquerque, NM and it is still a little hot down there, so this outfit was perfect for inside the classroom and for my commute.

Southwest Style

I have to admit, Southwestern style is my favorite style to wear...and now that I live in the Southwest I have even more of an excuse to wear outfits like this!  Not to mention, I have and endless supply of Southwestern type clothing and accessories with Santa Fe, NM just down the road! Striped Blazer, Floral Scarf

I can defiantly tell it is a Monday! 

Didn't want to wake up, came home exhausted...I really need to get out and exercise or at least walk my dogs but my energy is gone.

It was another perfect weather day here in the mountains of New Mexico...high of 68F and sunny.  This has been the weather for the last few weeks (high around 70F and sunny) , I am so used to the gloomy Fall days in Arkansas, that the perfect weather we are having here is almost annoying!  Supposedly, it is supposed to turn cold towards the end of the week, I hope it stays that way.
