Striped Skirt + Spiked Necklace

The MR. has been out of town the last few days for choir all-state clinic.. but alas, he has returned and I have someone to take my blog pictures again!!

It has been well below freezing the last few days!  I had a scare yesterday when I went to take a shower and   when I turned on the water...nothing came out.  Yes, the pipes froze (again) overnight.  Luckily, I put the space heater on the pipes and was able to get my water running within a few hours. (For all of you who don't know, I was without water for about 4 days a week or two ago due to frozen, busted pipes).

So, onto my outfit! I love this combination.  I added the spiked necklace to make it a little more interesting and fun.  What do you think?

Back to School

It's back to school for me! Both at the elementary school I work at and at the college I attend.

I just started my occupational therapy program and am already a little overwhelmed at how busy I have become. My schedule has gotten crazy...

Work- 8-11am

Commute to Albuquerque- 11-12:30am

Class- 1-4:30pm

Drive home- 4:30-7ish

Then homework and reading until bedtime....

Kristine's Favorite Outfits of 2012

As I recently posted, I recently returned from my trip to Arkansas to find that my pipes were frozen and, therefore, no running water!!  It has been 3 days now and still no water.  I am about at the point to where I would kill for a shower!

Being that I can not take a real shower, I have tried not to leave the house because I look (and probably smell) awful ..which means no new outfit posts for the time being.  

Being that it is a new year, I figured I would look back on 2012 and post a few of my favorite outfits!! So here they are...Kristine's Favorite Outfits of 2012! Enjoy :)

Home At last!

We left early this morning to drive from Arkansas back to our home in New Mexico, a long and boring 12 hour drive.  

The Mr and I had a wonderful vacation in Arkansas visiting family and enjoying the holidays, but now it is back to reality.  I am glad to be home, but not happy to come home to frozen pipes!! I NEED a shower but it doesn't look like it is going to happen tonight.

My puggle, Chloe, loves to lay in my lap on car rides!! She literally stayed in my lap for 12 hours and just slept or stared out the window...such a good pup.

We made it back to New Mexico in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the snow covered high desert terrain.  There is nothing more beautiful than a sunset/sunrise in New Mexico, pictures do not do it justice!  Just another reason to live here :)

I feel like I have been away from the blogging world forever!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!  Yay 2013!!
