Magenta and Chambray

Another one of the staples in my closet is this chambray blazer.  Like my military style vest, it seems to go with just about anything.  If you have been a follower of PWP for a while, then you've probably seen this blazer in quite a few of my outfit posts. 

I wore this outfit to Santa Fe for a very busy night out.  We went to a friends birthday party and then to watch another friends band play at a restaurant near the plaza.  It was a fun night! I always love an excuse to go out on the town in Santa Fe (I work in SF but I just drive strait to work and back).

Once I got in the car I remembered to remove the hair tie from my wrist!  I keep forgetting I have it on there until after my pictures.

I put this outfit together quickly when my husband came home and told me about a 50th anniversary party we were going to for one of his barbershop group members. I quickly scrambled around in my closet and came up with this....

It was warm out, but I wanted something a little more modest (hence the blazer).

Simple with Dots

I ran all around town yesterday for different gatherings and events and wanted to find an outfit that would be appropriate for every occasion.  This outfit did just that, it is simple and neutral for a professional look, yet classy.  

On another note,  I take my National Boards Certification exam tomorrow.  Freaking out!  So ready to be done with it.
