Leopard, Burgundy, and Polk Dot Chambray

I was right about it cooling off....yesterday a large storm came through and we got 2 inches of HAIL! It is going to be a while before I get used to the weather here, it is so crazy!  

Burgundy is the big color for fall this year.  I love these burgundy skinny pants, and I was more than happy to break out my box of boots today and grab my favorite pair...my Steve Madden cognac leather boots!  This outfit is fun, my husband really wanted to go to Octoberfest at a brewery he loves in Santa Fe, so I put this outfit together and went with him...even though I have a cold and feel a little nasty.

Black, White and Pink

Today was another great day at work!  The little girl I work with was in a great mood, I got some more of my observation time from her occupational therapy session (need 10 hours), and the weather was a fantastic 70F.  I better enjoy it because it is supposed to turn cold over the next couple days.  I think I may be coming down with a cold, which doesn't surprise me because I came home from class yesterday completely exhausted! Uggg!

I love this combination of the black, white and pink, nice and feminine. (My hair was not quite done when these pictures were taken...)  This white and black blazer is just awesome, you may remember it from about a month or so ago when I paired it with a green top and skinny jeans!

Stripes and Houndstooth

I am in love with pattern mixing!  Especially striped tops with fun patterned scarves.  Today's outfit was a mix of striped top and a houndstooth scarf.  I feel very Audrey Hepburn with my stripes and skinny's today...if only I could do my hair similar to hers...so pretty!

Chilly Morning

Woke up this morning and it was 34 degrees outside, 24F with wind chill... Burr!!! I have been putting of wearing sweaters but today is definitely a sweater kind of day. I have been looking forward to cooler weather I love wearing layers and more importantly, boots! I wanted to wear boots to church this morning but we have to wear black shoes with our robes, so just know that I would rather be wearing brown boots in my photo below.

Navy and Leopard

What a lovely day!  The weather was absolutely perfect, a nice day at work, and a pot roast in the crock pot for this evening!  I have started my diet for the fall, after the stress of moving I gained a few pounds so time go back to my healthy eating.  I need my clothes to fit comfortably again, and they are starting to...being that I am down 6lbs! Eating lots of candy was fun while it lasted...
