This outfit was another "pinsperation" that I have been wanting to try since the moment I laid eyes on in.  I just adore this combo!!

As you can see behind me we have snow again.  I am wanting to transition into spring!! I love fall/winter looks but I am ready for something different.  When I saw this look I thought it would be perfect for this type of weather...it's 3 layers but looks brighter and a little spring-like...so warm, with some fun color!

I received this jacket for Christmas from my in-laws for those of you who didn't see my Christmas post. It  has become an amazing piece to have in my closet, especially for pattern mixing.

Emerald

Emerald is everywhere right now!

I love the color emerald, not only because it is my birthstone, but because I just love wearing it.

Besides the color emerald, another trend I have been in love with is jewelry stacking.  I found some gorgeous stackable rings at Freshtrends.  Freshtrends has pre-selected stacks and sells the rings separately as well, so fun!

Military Chic

I love military inspired pieces!

I was so happy to find this top at American Eagle when I was looking for items to buy with my gift card (gift card + 40% off coupon = best day ever!).  The fit is nice, I just wish that AE made their shirts a little longer for us tall girls. I decided to go for a casual Friday look...mostly because I am dead tired and ready for the weekend!

Colorblock Sweater

This sweater is so fun and I made it a tad edgy with the spiked necklace. I love these quilted black riding boots as well.  I bought them quite a while back and I wear them so much!

I absolutely LOVE this sweater!!  

I picked this sweater up at Urban Outfitters a few months back with they had a $15 off deal going on and lucky for you...they still carry this sweater.  My first instinct was to pair it with a pair of colored skinny jeans, but I figured I will wait and turn it into more of a Spring look.
