MLK Weekend

For the 3 day weekend, my husband, brother and I drove up to Colorado (Around a 2 and a half hour drive).

We had a great time with my Aunt and Uncle in their gorgeous mountain town.  There was still some snow on the ground from the last snow storm and of course plenty of snow on the mountain tops.  I have a few outfit photos to share as well as some pictures from our adventures over the weekend. 

First up, my outfit from Sunday morning...

My goal with this first outfit was to be warm and somewhat dressy for church Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon my Uncle and I went snow shoeing.  Off came the sweater and boots and on with the hat, coat and snowshoes!

It was a fantastic afternoon for a trek up to a scenic ridge in the snow and of course we were rewarded with this gorgeous view of the San Juan Mountains.

Kristine's Kravings

While home sick the last few days I have stumbled upon many items that are making me ogle...

So here it is, Kristine's Kravings:

#1. First up is the gorgeous CZ Infinity Stainless Steel Charm Bracelet from Freshtrends. I love how small and dainty this piece is..not only can you wear it stacked with other bracelets but it is also a stand alone bracelet. 

#2 on my list is this American Eagle Henley Sweater.

I love the cozy look of this sweater along with the "outdoorsy" look.  It would also make a fantastic layering piece under a flannel top, blazer, or chambray top. 

#3 on the list is this pair of Converse shoes from 6pm (click for coupons!)

I love the washed out burgundy color of this pair would pair perfectly with a pair of boyfriend jeans or rolled up skinny jeans for a casual, laid-back look. 

 #4 and lastly on my list is this thin cross ring. This is one piece of jewelry I have had my eyes on for quite some time now.  I love how thin and delicate this style of ring looks along with the crystal pave inlay.  Found a ring almost identical  on Baublebar (HERE)! Happy New Year!!

2014 was a FANTASTIC year!  I graduated college....again, landed a great job working in my new field, went on a trip to Europe.

Here's to 2015!  

One of my resolutions is to be a more active blogger.  I do enjoy blogging and just need to find a time when it's not pitch black outside to take my pictures.  I am currently in that post-trip/post-holiday funk where my clothes are not fitting comfortably. The blog pictures will hopefully pick up once I can fit back into the clothes I want to wear!
