I wore this bright, fun outfit last Friday when I was out and about running errands around town.  Friday has turned into my "get everything done" day, due to the fact that I have class Monday-Thursday with a lovely 3 1/2 hour drive round trip. 

Only 2 months of class left for me then I will be interning full time (hopefully somewhere closer to home).  I am starting to get nervous!

Home Style

After recently moving into a new condo, I have been inspired by interior design and home decor.

When you move to a house you really start to develop a certain style that you call your own.  I have always been a fan of southwestern home decor and bright colors so when we found this bright and colorful condo... I was all for moving in!  It has been fun checking out photos online and watching HGTV to find new ways to add to our condo and make it "ours".

Although this bedroom is not in any way southwestern...I love the mix of woods and the amazing chandelier.  I would probably use a different comforter though, I love the pop of blue but would probably trade it for yellow. I am defiantly ready for the weekend, even if I have to spend it writing a 7 page research paper...things have been a little chaotic lately with school and life in general!

My favorite type of outfit to wear is casual yet classy which is what I created today with this look.  I have always loved wearing neutral colors, they give off more of a "softer" look.

Matinee Movie Date

For our 7th wedding anniversary, the Mr. and I decided to go to a matinee movie date to see The Lone Ranger (the day before our anniversary, Sunday).  It was a great movie, go see it!  We also went out to eat at Tomasita's in Santa Fe last night and hung out around the Santa Fe railyard for the evening.

I have had this chiffon feather top for a few years now and I have been in love with it ever since I bought it off of eBay.  I love how it ties in the back with the purple feathers!

Church in Colorado

I have spent the last week in Colorado with my family having a blast and doing a ton of hiking!  On my last day in CO, I went to church at my Uncles church (he's a priest) and this is what I wore.  As you can probably tell, I am all about the aztec print these days.  Love this skirt!

Even thought I have to head back to school this week, my mom and brothers will be hanging out around New Mexico to spend some extra time with me!

After returning home, I was checking out websites and catching up when I came across a very helpful website that is a Body Jewelry Buying Guide at FreshTrends.  I found it helpful due to the fact that it contains all sorts of information about all piercings and how to take care of them, what type of jewelry to buy, and information about different types of piercings before you get one as well as safety information.

Santa Fe Fun

 My in-laws were in town last week and we all went over to Santa Fe.  I live so close to Santa Fe and it's a shame that I only have a chance to explore the city when there are visitors. 

We had a great time chilling at local breweries and eating some yummy New Mexican food.
