Chevron Sunday

Believe it or not, this is my first time wearing a shirt over a dress! I just had to give it a try. I wore this outfit yesterday to church.

This past weekend was a fun one.  My aunt and uncle were staying with us for the weekend and we had a great time cooking, hiking and hanging out together!  Saturday, I took them to Bandelier National Monument to see the native american ruins and cliff dwellings.  Yesterday evening, my uncle and I hiked around Tsankawi and found unexcavated ruins, cliff dwellings, broken pottery shards, arrowheads, and petroglyphs.

Nautical

I have been seeing the nautical look all over the place lately.  Being a fan of both stripes and boat shoes, I decided to put together my own nautical outfit...Kristine style.

Military

This is my favorite outfit of the summer thus far! 

  After all these years I am still very much a tomboy which means the military trend is right down my alley.  I wore this outfit last Friday while chilling at Starbucks, working on homework, and listening to some Chopin, which has become my new favorite way to work on homework.

Saturday Night Out

After a Saturday of cleaning and writing a research paper I was in dire need of a break. It feels like forever since I have been anywhere besides the house, car, or school. We decided to go out last night to the local brew pub to listen to a Reggae band and enjoy a few drinks.

Bringing Some Green to the Desert
