Maxi Skirt

The sun finally made an appearance yesterday after a week of nonstop rain and thunderstorms.  It is definitely starting to feel like fall here in New Mexico and I am loving it!!  Fall is my favorite season, I love the chilly nights, the layers, boots, and the changing leaves. 

I wore this outfit to church yesterday.  It is more of a summer outfit with a little transition into cooler weather with the blazer.  Still not quite time for boots!!

Striped Peplum

If you have been following along for a while now, you know that I am a full time occupational therapy student with a 3 1/2 hour commute to class everyday.  Well...there is a light at the end of the tunnel, 10 more days of class left and I start my internship on October 7th!! I will be interning a short 30 minute drive away in Santa Fe working in inpatient rehab. So excited!!

Baseball Tee

Looong Weekend

Happy Labor Day weekend!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic long weekend.  I have spent my weekend relaxing mostly along with some hiking and finishing up a little bit of homework (hiking pictures below..).

What better activity to do on a four day weekend than hike?

Yesterday, my husband and I drove up into the mountains and hiked a few miles on the rim of Valles Caldera.  Valles Caldera one of 6 super volcanoes in the world and I happen to live on it....  It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a hike!!
