Bandelier

Today we went to Bandelier National Monument!! It has ancient cliff dwellings from the Anasazi Indians from 1000's of years ago. This park has always been a favorite of the family, we have been visiting Bandelier since I was 14 years old and now I live so close to the park that we should get to go more often.  I love walking through the park, it's such a cool feeling to walk where these ancient cliff dwellers once walked and lived so many years ago.

What to wear when hiking?
Flannel is what my family chose; very easy to layer with when it is freezing in the shade but hot in the sun.

Top- American Eagle (similar)
Jeans- Silver (similar)

The Giant Kiva on the cliff, my brother Samuel.
This is my brother, Travis, climbing to the Kiva. I am so afraid of heights but I made it!!
I am already sore from tensing my muscles from fear, lol.
My Flannel Family....  (minus dad, he wasn't wearing flannel)
HOT in the sun, I think I got a little burn.

Blooming Cactus
My lovely mother :)

I know some people appreciate seeing pictures from different areas of the country, so if you are one of them, this post is for you!!!
