I feel so behind with my blog! I have been so busy visiting my family here in Arkansas, we really have not had much down time.

These (horrible quality) pictures are from the day after Christmas.  My mom, brother and I went to the mall and did a little shopping with our gift cards and Christmas cash.  So many sales, so little time! I picked up a bunch of new and cheap items at Old Navy, so it was a very worthwhile trip in my opinion.

Happy Holidays!!

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas! I have had an eventful day spending time with family, opening presents and pigging out on yummy food.

Below are some pictures of me wearing my new striped Loft trench, given to me by my in-laws for Christmas. I wanted this jacket SO bad and was heartbroken when it sold out, it was a very fun surprise!

A Break From Layers...

After layering the last few weeks, I was ready to do something simple.  The interest in this outfit is defiantly the statement necklace and the patterned tights. (I am taking this necklace with me to Arkansas, so you will defiantly see more of it!)

I wore this outfit to church today and to Santa Fe to do a little last minute Christmas shopping!  The Santa Fe Plaza was packed, but it was so fun being there this time of year with the all of the garland, snow and lights!

Packing like crazy tonight!! The weather for Arkansas just changed and now they are supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow on Christmas, which means now I have to pack all of my snow gear!  It's a 12 hour drive from our place in New Mexico to our families houses in Arkansas, which means it's about bed time for me...I will be on the road all day tomorrow!

Christmas Break has officially started!!

Today was my last day of work at the elementary school before Christmas!  Like any last day of class at an elementary school, there were parties, presents and goodies galore!  Although, I will miss the kiddos...I will fully enjoy the few days I have with my family and friends in Arkansas!

2012 is coming to an end, and what a year it has been!

New job, new house, new state, new college!! This year has been a year of big changes, changes for the good. I love where I am currently at and would not change a thing!

I am finally feeling better after being sick for the last few days! Defiantly ready to get out of the house...

Today's outfit objective was to stay warm, especially since I have been sick.

It's about time to start packing for the long drive to Arkansas to see my family for the holidays!  I have never been good at packing efficiently, usually end up with way to much luggage. I am already trying to figure out what pieces I can bring that I can use in multiple outfits, so to avoid a trunk load of clothes! There are so many occasions to dress for on this trip...Christmas Eve, Christmas, Sister-in-laws wedding, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, New Years Eve, and I hope that is it!

Magenta and Blue

I always enjoy finding fun color combinations and this is defiantly a combination I adore!  I love wearing jewel tones, this sapphire blue has been a favorite color of mine.
