I am finally feeling better after being sick for the last few days! Defiantly ready to get out of the house...
Today's outfit objective was to stay warm, especially since I have been sick.
I layered this geo sweater under my military inspired parka and I seemed to have accomplished what I set out to do which was to stay warm and look cute!
Sweater- Forever 21 (similar)
Jeans- Express (eBay) (similar)
Boots- American Eagle (HERE)
It's about time to start packing for the long drive to Arkansas to see my family for the holidays! I have never been good at packing efficiently, usually end up with way to much luggage. I am already trying to figure out what pieces I can bring that I can use in multiple outfits, so to avoid a trunk load of clothes! There are so many occasions to dress for on this trip...Christmas Eve, Christmas, Sister-in-laws wedding, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, New Years Eve, and I hope that is it!

ReplyDeleteOh, yes .. I usually bring some ridiculous carry on. I do try to coordinate things that I can wear more than once. I usually stick with a lot of black .. lol.

It's always better to have more clothes than not enough, right? There's nothing worse than being on your vacation and wishing you would have brought "that other outfit." Just jam everything into a small suitcase - no one will know ;)

I used to be a chronic overpacker - or I would underpack and nothing would match! Now I make sure to mix and match and I have carry-on luggage trips down pat! I love your outfit - the sweater is super cute. Enjoy your trip x

Oooh, is this the parka AE is currently selling? I keep looking at it and thinking about it but it's always a hard guess. It looks really amazing on you, I love the rugged vibe and it works so well with the bright colors of the sweater. Whew, good luck with your packing and your drive!
