One of the things the Mr. and I have in common is that we both enjoy the taste of good craft brews. This past Friday we attended a brew festival in Santa Fe!! I always have so much fun at brewfests, getting to try tasters from different breweries around the state, makes for a fun date night.

Navy and Mustard

This outfit was inspired from a Pinterest pin that I stumbled upon a long time ago...

I love the combination on navy with mustard yellow.  You know those outfits that make you feel happy and confident while wearing them?  This is how this outfit made me feel. The tights just made this outfit so much fun!

Laid Back Weekend

It is jacket weather again!!
We have had very cold weather the last few weeks but today it is nice and warm out.

With my new and crazy schedule, I have never been so happy to have a 3 day weekend. I definitely needed a few days off from the amount of work, class, homework, and driving I have had to do in the last couple weeks. My husband and I went out for some coffee this afternoon and then picked up a pizza from Papa Murphys, yummm!!  It's Chicago style and I can not wait to try it!

Baja Flannel

This Southwestern blanket print flannel top is so colorful and fun and not to mention warm!

  I picked this top up at Urban Outfitters a little while back (on sale, of course!).  I love love love Urban Outfitters and would shop there much more often if it wasn't that their prices tend to be a little high for my taste. I was wanting more of a laid back look for today, it's the end of the week and I am exhausted!!

More Snow!!

Yesterday morning I woke up to a surprise snow storm!

Normally I would be really excited to get more snow but it made my long commute to college a pretty terrifying one.  

Good news! I found a time to have my blog pictures taken... unfortunately, it is as my husband is on his way out the door for work and my hair is hardly ever done by this time.  So messy haired blog pictures may be a common occurrence within the next few months....

Striped Skirt + Spiked Necklace

The MR. has been out of town the last few days for choir all-state clinic.. but alas, he has returned and I have someone to take my blog pictures again!!

It has been well below freezing the last few days!  I had a scare yesterday when I went to take a shower and   when I turned on the water...nothing came out.  Yes, the pipes froze (again) overnight.  Luckily, I put the space heater on the pipes and was able to get my water running within a few hours. (For all of you who don't know, I was without water for about 4 days a week or two ago due to frozen, busted pipes).

So, onto my outfit! I love this combination.  I added the spiked necklace to make it a little more interesting and fun.  What do you think?

Back to School

It's back to school for me! Both at the elementary school I work at and at the college I attend.

I just started my occupational therapy program and am already a little overwhelmed at how busy I have become. My schedule has gotten crazy...

Work- 8-11am

Commute to Albuquerque- 11-12:30am

Class- 1-4:30pm

Drive home- 4:30-7ish

Then homework and reading until bedtime....
