TGIF!!

I couldn't be happier that today is Friday!  Although we had fall break at my college, I made up a sick day at work and now I am drained!  Not to mention we took the elementary kids on a field trip yesterday to farmers market....4 mile walk round trip! (Up a large hill, through the rain and hail)  Today's outfit is fun, I love the coral top and the gold bracelet/ring.  I love these pointed toe flats I bought from eBay a few years ago but it started storming and these were not the right shoes to be wearing with all of the rain we got today.

Park Ranger Chic?

It is sort of hard to tell but my pants are that Park Ranger green color.  I love the outdoorsy look with a little feminine pop of color (the necklace!).  Not quite cold enough for boots yet! I can not wait, I LOVE my boots!

My husband and I went out to Bandelier National Monument for the afternoon! He had a meeting @ Bandelier because one of his choirs is singing at the amphitheater for "Mozart on the Rocks". (Took the necklace off and switched to jeans and tennis shoes.)

I LOVE this color combo!  The scarf really made this outfit interesting. Again, excuse the messy hair, on days I have to drive to Albuquerque I let it air dry and then put it up.  

 

Chevron rings are so much fun!  I got mine in a stack of 6 different colors and switch them out to go with the colors I am wearing.

The Flu!

I am back and over the flu!!! My husband and I both had the flu this weekend and missed work on Monday.  I still felt really sick yesterday while at work, but hey,  I have to earn the money!  I don't get any paid sick days, which sucks!!!  I had class today in Albuquerque and luckily I felt much better for the long commute and day full of learning.  Here is what I am wearing today....

Today was a college day, which includes a 3 1/2 commute to Albuquerque (round trip).  I got my Ipad 3 in class today!! WOOOOO!!!! (it is required for my school...all the book are on Ipad)

When I first saw it I was like "Hey! That's the lace tank I picked up from American Eagle back in March!"  I love how the lace top under the blue blazer adds interest to the outfit...no statement necklace needed. I did, however, add some rockin' gold bracelets to my ensemble...

Had church today and this is what I wore! I picked up this top a while back from The Limited and finally had a place to wear it, I was afraid it may be too dressy for work and school.  I LOVE this lace pencil skirt, the pictures do not do it justice!  I can't wait to wear this skirt with some black tights and some black boots once the weather turns colder...which won't be long!  Fall has begun in Northern New Mexico! High's are now in the low 70's and 60's with a cool 50F at night.  May have to start up the wood burning stove some this week!

Santa Fe Fiesta!!!

As I mentioned in my earlier post, my in-laws were in town for the long weekend.  Yesterday, we headed over to Santa Fe, NM for some fun and there just so happen to be a Labor Day weekend Fiesta going on!!  Here are some pictures from the Fiesta!

Lemon Lime and Baby Blue

This color combo just came to me while I was falling asleep last night. I live the brightness of the lime green with the baby blue top!!
