Christmas Break!!! 

 I am so excited to be traveling back to Arkansas tomorrow to visit family for Christmas, 2 week vacation!  

I was debating on whether or not to share this outfit because the pictures turned out a little blurry from the sun.... but after enhancing them, they turned out a little better.

A Little Christmas Shopping

My husband and I went out to the Santa Fe plaza for a little Christmas shopping yesterday.   Even though the high for the day was only around 39F, the sun is so strong here that 39F feels like jacket, or blazer, weather... a great day for shopping outdoors!

Winter Stripes

I have to admit I felt a little like a festive candy cane in this top!! Love this time of year! 

 I have finished (and passed!) my first round of fieldwork for college and started this past Monday on my 2nd round working as a therapist in an elementary school.  I love the laid back vibe after being in a hospital rehab setting.  Although inpatient rehab was fun and challenging it is quite a bit more work and I am glad to be in a slower paced setting now...best of all, I get to wear my own clothes again instead of polo shirts!!!

Winter Wonderland

This sweater is totally adorable!  

I have been in love with intarsia sweaters for quite some time now and there is nothing better than this sweater from Persunmall with a chick wearing a little pink hat!

Got somewhere around 6 inches of snow over the weekend...it really looks like a winter wonderland, just in time for the holidays.

This time of the year, I tend to dress flannel happy.  You can never have too many flannel shirts in my opinion...

I found this flannel top at Urban Outfitters.  I love the hint of Southwest style in this top.

Embellished sweaters and sweatshirts are everywhere right now. I personally think they are the perfect look for the holiday season!  This pearlized gem sweatshirt from LOFT is simple yet fun.

I walked into Forever 21 a few weeks back and almost died with happiness when I saw the amount of Southwest inspired clothing! I am loving this trend.

Southwest Military Style

Brrrrr!!

A cold front is passing through bringing winter weather. We have snow in the mountains!

I love this southwest print military jacket.  My brother may not know it, but he is the one who actually bought me this jacket last time I was visiting in Arkansas...thanks Trav! He gave me money for gas to come visit and I had a little extra, heh.  I also picked this scarf up at a military surplus store in Arkansas when shopping with my mom. It is super warm and great for this time of year!

Fall Style for Church

Currently, Sunday is the only day of the week I really get a chance to dress up (with the exception of an occasional Saturday). Unfortunately, as soon as I get to church my outfit is covered up by a choir robe!  Oh well, I still embrace the opportunity to wear a skirt or dress.

This outfit is actually from 2 weekends ago...I am a brunette now, stay tuned for my next post!
