Ohhh, sparkles!

The other day it suddenly got chilly again, so I grabbed this stripped sequin sweater out of the closet!

I'm not sure why my husband insists that I pose for my blog pictures with the sun right in my face...I think he thinks it looks better, but it doesn't!
(This was last week, I no longer have the ugly boot!)

Love Birds

Yesterday, we took the 3rd grade (which is the grade I work with) to the nature center and this is what I wore!  The kids walked from the school and I was lucky to be able to drive down due to my foot.  Today is my first day without the boot on my foot, so far so good.

I purchased this sweater with my Christmas gift card from my mother in law a few months back.  I think it is absolutely adorable and looks great on a chilly spring day!

Dalmatian Print Skirt

I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. 

 I love dalmatian print and this skirt is too cute!!

Update on my foot...it is starting to feel a little better.  I am able to walk around the house a tad without too much pain, just trying not to overdo it because the more I walk without my boot the more the pain starts returning.

Aqua Floral

After limping around for an entire week after injuring my foot, I decided to go to the doctor on Friday.  Luckily, my foot is not broken, but I do have a broken toe and torn ligaments as well as a possible hairline fracture in my foot.  This means I get to walk around in this lovely boot for a week, possibly longer if I do have a hairline fracture (only time will tell).

Enough about my gimpy foot...I love this top!! It's so fun and silky.  I am loving floral print right now, which is a print I always avoided growing up.

Craziness

The weather has been so flip-floppy that I have been unsure what to wear.  Most of my spring/summer clothing is still packed away and I have been putting off cleaning out my closet and putting all my winter clothes away...especially since it suddenly started snowing today!  Just going for a casual look because I have to wear flip flops (explanation below).

This past weekend, my husband and I hiked to a natural hot springs about 30 minutes from the house.  It was nice swimming in the springs until I stood up on a rock, slipped and fell into the springs.  Somehow in the process I broke my toe and messed up my foot (which is why my foot is wrapped).  It has been annoying because my foot doesn't fit into my shoes so I have had to wear flip flops, yuck...cold toes.

Spring Break

I know I have been MIA for a little over a week now, sorry!  I had spring break last week and drove up to Colorado where I spent some time at my aunt and uncles house and then drove back down with my mom, who flew in from Arkansas, to my town in New Mexico.

We had a great time hiking and exploring the outdoors as well as eating a ton of New Mexican food.
