Sweater Weather

I am sooo excited about this cardigan! 

Not only is it a southwestern print, but it is long and cozy.  (Find it HERE)

When I find anything that fits long on my 5'10" frame I get super stoked...I was actually able to size down on this sweater/cardi!

Oh hey, y'all!

It only took me a couple months to create a new blog post...

You know how it is.... you go on a summer vacation then mini vacation after mini vacation, then you go to Great American Beer Festival one weekend and when you return your clothes no longer fit.  Yeah... this is what happened to me.  I decided no one wants to see my try to fit into my clothes so I waited for life to settle down and started eating extremely healthy to lose all of my vacation/beer weight... and ta-da, clothes fit again!!! YAY!

I have always loved American Eagle, but I am even more in love with them at the moment because they have soooo much Southwest going on right now!  I picked up this vest a month or so ago when they were having a big sale and I am IN LOVE!!

Le Tote

Since I've been in the mood to try new things (Stitchfix, ect.) I decided to give Le Tote a try.

First Stitch Fix

I've been seeing Stitch Fix everywhere and decided to give it a go.

I used 4/5 pieces from my first box to create these outfits below.  Unfortunately, the jeans I received were way too short for my 5'10" legs so they are not pictured. 

Look #1- Maxi Dress (and bracelet)

I really love this dress and it is something I probably would not have picked out for myself. When I first tried it on, I was not a fan but the more I paired with it the more I realized how gorgeous and versatile it really is!  I didn't keep it, hat it been the start of Summer I may have considered it but we are already into Fall here!

Look #2- Sheer Striped Top

Overall, cute top.  A tad small around my hips though!

Look #3- Poncho

My favorite piece in the box!  Unfortunately, the price was not right (and I have a black and white sweater wrap that is similar).

Overall, I really did like what I received in my box but unfortunately, the prices were not in my spending range!  However, I did keep the bracelet :)

Casual Sunday

Summer

I'm still trying to "Summer" even though Fall is closing in fast.  

It is extremely difficult not to be wearing jackets and Fall layers right now. Fall is my favorite season to dress for and I am fortunate enough to live in a place that never really gets "hot". I find myself throwing on a flannel and jacket more often then I probably should during the summer months.

Shades of Turquoise

I wore this outfit for a girls day in Santa Fe with my bestie this weekend. 

When you live in New Mexico, turquoise is a must...it's practically everywhere you look.  I decided to mix different shades of turquoise all into one outfit between my necklace, rings and earrings.  I have always LOVED turquoise on red which is why I chose this red striped top to pair it with.

Sparkle Chambray

This post is titled "Sparkle Chambray" due to my white tank under the chambray being covered in sequins...unfortunately, this detail does not show up on (my) camera.

Vacation

If you follow my Instagram feed (kruttles) then you know I have been all over the place lately.

I've always been a National Park junky...I LOVE the outdoors!  Hiking, camping, backpacking, are some of my favorite things to do.

We recently took a trip out West, hitting up Grand Canyon, Yosemite, San Francisco, the coastal road up to Redwood Forest. It was a blast!  Even though I do not have any great outfits to share with you from my trip due to the fact that we were doing some heavy hiking and camping on and off, I would like to share a few pictures from our adventure!
